spy vs spy

Well thank God, I've almost made it through another week at work. As a friend of mine tells me when I see him on Friday mornings, well you've almost beat 'em out of another one....meaning Ive almost cheated the company out of another payday. Just kidding , of course..but apart from the mundane routine, sometimes I am amazed that I get paid to do what I do..but no, I ain't giving the money back..what do you think I'm stupid? hah

Our theme for this month's Sunday School lessons is conflict---how should we as Christians deal with conflict in a way that honors God. I see conflict situations on my job quite often, even in my own department. For a while it seems everyone gets along great. Then all of a sudden someone will say or do something, maybe not even meaning to, and the other person takes offense, and then the "big chill" sets in. I feel trapped in a way...I always manage to get along well with both parties, but it feels like I'm being pressured to take sides. But that wouldn't be the Christian thing for me to do, I realize. Jesus left us some words to live by as to how to handle conflict situations in a way that honors Him.

Mat 7:1 "Do not judge so that you will not be judged.
Mat 7:2 "For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.
Mat 7:3 "Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
Mat 7:4 "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye?
Mat 7:5 "You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.
