Last night at work as I was preparing the daily workload reports, I was listening to a radio program. The guest was being interviewed about new technologies that are being used to track merchandise and people. I knew that my company had begun implementing this new technology called RFID, to track inventory, etc. What I heard about it last night though, kind of bothers me. I don't know if this is just another "conspiracy theory" Big Brother sort of thing, or if I should legitimately be concerned about this, in view of what the Bible says. Check out this link and tell me what you think..

update---well, sort of
I am told that I need to update my blog more often. Actually, I was going to wait until after the election, or the next total eclipse of the sun, whichever ocurred (or is it occured- I am never sure if I spell that word correctly), but what the heck...Last week, in the absence of our pastor, who was away on a mission trip to Bolivia, I conducted the Wednesday night service at church. Yeah, I was nervous at first, but the more I began to study and dig into God's word, the more at ease I felt. The topic God gave me to use was Matthew 5:13-16...Salt and light. We can't have much of an impact on the world if we isolate ourselves and avoid having contact with people around us. In other words, we can't stay in the salt shaker...

Gotta love it:)
FINALLY, I can get my weekly fix of Nascar once again. Now maybe I can stop fantasizing about takin' the air off someone's spoiler, and puttin' 'em into the wall. And oh man, was that a great Budweiser Shootout. It's ironic though, that this being the last year that Budweiser will sponsor the event, and Dale Jr's first year with his new organization, that he not only won the event, but led more laps than anyone else in the 29 year history. OK, so he had some help from a good teammate. He's still gonna be the shiz-nit, I tell ya.

post-game thoughts and observations
Well it appears that the Patriot Dynasty is over ( or "ovah" as they would say in Bah-ston.) And what a thrilling game it was..Even though I didn't win any money in the pool, it was worth it to see Tom Brady eat the big one....Eli is officially out of Peyton's shadow now. Look for the brothers to face each other in the Super Bowl soon...
