I just returned from the hospital with good news. Mom's catheter and IV were removed today. Now all that remains is the dialysis tube, and I expect that will be coming out tomorrow as well. With any luck, she should be back home no later than Tuesday. Kidney function has returned to normal, blood sugar counts are down near 100, pneumonia is whipped. I would like to thank everyone who has offered words of support, and for all the prayers that went up, much appreciated. I know God heard each and every one, so may God bless you all!
Hopefully tomorrow I can get my satellite tv signal restored. Its cruel and unusual punishment to have no tv..but at least I have a good supply of DVDs.

I'm so glad that your mom is doing better now, Glenn. She's really going to be happy once she is back home, I bet! No fun getting poked and prodded in the hospital.
The broken satellite... that just ain't right. Hope it gets fixed quick.
