I decided to call it a day on this project. A storm cloud blew in and there was some thunder & lightning, so I ran for cover. Anyway, I am about 80% complete with the roof framework. A few more 2 x 6's to nail down, then put the tin roof on. Then the walls and floor should go pretty easy. Its a little smaller than the old barn, but we don't need as much room as the old one had. On the right in these pics, and left in the first ones I posted, will be feeding and sleeping quarters for my horse. On the far right, there will be a little room to store the horse's grain and hay in. And the middle section will be for storing equipment. Lawnmower, garden tiller, etc. In the background you can see the old barn. It looks tired and sad, huh?..It should, after holding up for 80 years or so.
